Hole # 3/12 is a short par 4 that doglegs to the left and is slightly uphill. It is reachable from the tee; however, reaching the green generally requires a draw. Cutting the dogleg involves clearing several trees as well as a bunker that runs the length of the front left side of the green and the left side of the green. If a ball strikes any of the trees to the left of the fairway, it's quite likely the ball will find the pond the fairway doglegs around. Many long hitters will use a 5 wood on this hole as it's very possible to drive thru the dogleg to the right with a driver. There are trees and shrubs to the right, a mogul to the right, and a permanent structure (gazebo) to the right. There is very little left or right of the fairway that makes for a good approach shot.
The green, itself, allows for a few tricky pin placements; but, most pin placements will result in a moderate break at worst. The trees that surround the back of the green tend to drop a lot of debris on the green so you may want to take time to clear the debris out of your putting line. Even the shorter hitters have a reasonable birdie opportunity on this hole with a quality approach shot.
