At 120/110 yards, hole # 4/13 is a short par 3 from an elevated tee. Don't let the short length fool you as there is plenty of trouble on this hole. The tee shot is over a small pond that shouldn't come into play; however, if you have a poor tee shot that finds the pond, your next shot will be from the same elevated teeing area as there is no other reasonable spot to drop the ball short of the pond. If your tee shot is more than a few feet long of the green, you will find yourself in the creek that runs behind the green. A ball in the creek adds a penalty stroke and a trip to the drop area. There are 2 bunkers on the hole - one to the right and one to the front left. Additionally, a ball left of the green and past the bunker has a good chance of hitting the downslope on the side of the green and kicking into the creek. Landing your drive on the green is the only good option here.
This green has a combination of easier pin locations on the back half of the green with little or no break, and more difficult pin locations on the front half of the green with quite a bit more break.
