The 6th/15th hole is a relatively short, dogleg left par 4. From the teeing area there is trouble left and right. The creek that meanders thru the course enters the course to the left of the teeing area and runs parallel to the left rough for about 225 yards before turning left. If your tee shot is left of the fairway it stands a good chance of hitting one of the trees in the rough and ending up in the creek. The right rough shares the trees you wanted to avoid on # 5. A tee shot landing in them is almost certain to leave no option other than punching safely back into the fairway. There is also a bunker about 210 yards from the teeing area on the right side at the outside bend in the dogleg. The longer hitters can easily drive thru the dogleg into the trees. The ideal drive on this hole is a nicely shaped draw.
The green is protected by a bunker on the front right. There is a row of hedges behind the green. If your approach shot is not going to be on the green, short or left of the green is preferable to long or right of the green. There are quite a few difficult pin placements available on this hole. The most difficult are on the top 1/2 of the green; however, there are pin positions on the bottom 1/2 of the green that, if you are far enough above the hole, will see your putt take a double break. The best places to putt from on this green are always below the cup.
