Hole # 7/16 is another short par 4. There are trees on the left and right and the creek runs along the left side. The fairway is somewhat generous; but, an errant tee shot can end up in the trees on either side. These tree filled areas are not as severe as some others on the course and you may still find yourself with a reasonable opportunity to reach the green with a good approach shot. The creek can come into play, but not nearly as often as it does on hole # 6. There is a bunker down the right side at about 215 yards from the teeing area. It is shallow and should not present too much of a problem if you find yourself in it.
As the fairway approaches the green, it takes on a slight right to left slope. There is also a bunker on the right side of this green. An appraoch shot that lands in front of the bunker or between the bunker and the green will almost certainly bounce left. You don't want to be too long on your approach shot as there is an out-of-bounds behind the green. There is maybe a 15' - 20' area behind the green where your ball is still in play.
Pin positions toward the back of the green are much easier than pin positions toward the front of the green where putts will have a much greater break to them.
