At 547 yards (blue tees), the 9th hole is the longest hole on the course. It plays to 484 yards as the 18th hole. The drive on # 9 must stay between trees on the left and right for about the first 70 yards. The trees on the right are not normally in play from the # 18 tee. There is a wide rough to the right after the trees. However, the left side has trees the entire length; and, beyond the trees to the left is out-of-bounds. Long hitters wanting to go to the green on their second shot would do well to place their drive from the center to the right center of the fairway. A drive on the left side of the fairway may not leave room to get past the trees to reach the green. There is a creek cutting across the fairway about 100 yards from the elevated green. There is a distinct ridge that crosses the fairway before the fairway slopes downhill. This ridge measures approximately 190 yards to the creek. The 15 - 40 yard area before the creek is often referred to as "the landing zone." With a second shot landing in this area, you will have 100 - 140 yards to the elevated green.
The elevated green has a mogul on the back and 2 greenside bunkers on the right. Just left of the green is the cart path and a ball landing on the cart path has an excellent chance of bounding OB. The cart path circles behind the green and a ball past the mogul may also bounce off the cart path there and roll out-of-bounds behind the green. If your ball is right of the green, in one of the bunkers or not, you will have a shot to the green that will almost certainly run at least 1/2 way across the green. The best place to miss this green is short.
The green itself has very few straight putt opportunities. Those that do exist are generally from below the hole. The further back on the green the cup is, the greater the break will normally be.

The forward tees play 423/418 yards, respectively. This teeing area is to the right side of fairway so the right rough is more likely to come into play than the OB to the left. After the tee shot, this holes plays as described above.
